BEATRICE VILLARI

PhD in Design. Assistant Professor at the Department of Design – Politecnico di Milano.

Beatrice is member of the Faculty of Design School of Politecnico di Milano teaching Service Design and Design methods. Her research interests are mainly focused on service design, strategic design and design for territorial development. She is involved in research activities – at national and international level – about Social Innovation and Design Policies. She also works on participative approaches in design, ethnographic research and action research projects. She had collaborated in different international design universities in Brazil, Chile, and Korea.

She is the co-director of the Master in Service Design of Politecnico di Milano – see http://www.polidesign.net/en/servicedesign.

She is project manager of the Service Design for Business corse of Politecnico di Milano – see http://www.polidesign.net/it/servicedesignforbusiness

From 2012 to 2015 she was the coordinator of the Service Design Commissiona at ADI (Italian Industrial Design Association).

She was involved in the research DRM | Design Research Map and awarded with the ADI Compasso d’Oro in 2011.
