Viola has received her Master degree in Communication Design at Politecnico di Milano in 2015, after a B.Sc in Communication Sciences at University of Pisa. Her design approach combines a theoretical background with an increasing interest in the field of new media and information visualization. Developing her master thesis about gender imbalance and Wikipedia she designed visual analysis to explore social research data.
