PhD, Designer, Research Fellow, Adjunct Professor, Startupper<\/em><\/p>\n

Graduated in Interior Design in 2010 and got a PhD in Design in 2014. Her Master thesis\u00a0focused on research and design for tv set especially in a time of crisis. During the degree\u00a0she studied as an exchange student at RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) in\u00a0Providence, RI, USA. In 2008 she completed an internship as an interior designer in Paris,\u00a0at CXT Architecture. After that she worked for two years as a set designer for Sky tv with\u00a0Bestudio, in Milan.<\/p>\n

Her PhD research was about \u2018temporary living\u2019 especially in the contest of mega-event.<\/p>\n

The PhD involved a term as an exchange student at Middlesex University in London and\u00a0one at TU Delft. In the last years she designed the interiors and services for the Expo\u00a0Village for Milan 2015 as applied project of her PhD thesis.<\/p>\n

She has been teaching since 2010, she has been tutor on numerous workshops, classes\u00a0and studios in Interior Design (BSc and MSc) and Product Service System Design (MSc)\u00a0at Politecnico di Milano and other international schools of design.<\/p>\n

Member of the Research Team in Design for Environments, Landscape & Mobility –\u00a0LEM.design, Design Department, Politecnico di Milano since 2011. She joined several\u00a0national and international research focused on Design for Social Innovation, Public\u00a0Spaces and Hospitality.<\/p>\n

She was project manager of the The Virtuous Circle, Cumulus Conference in Milan (June\u00a02015).<\/p>\n

She is now Research Fellow at the Design Department and Adjunct Professor at the\u00a0School of Design of Politecnico di Milano. She is working for different research: campUS –\u00a0Incubation and settings for social practices, a Polisocial research project on the role of the\u00a0university campus as incubator for social practises; Human Cities \u2013 Challenging the city\u00a0scale, an European research projects about public urban spaces; SerSE, a FARB\u00a0research project on the Sharing Economy.<\/p>\n

In 2013 she founded MyHoming with Angela Ponzini, a collaborative web platform\u00a0designed to bring together demand and supply of services for (con)temporary inhabitants\u00a0in order to make them feel at home even in a foreign context.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
